Farmers school of gardeners was opened at the Centre for development of horticulture named after V. G. Muhanna in Michurinsky district, Tambov region in the framework of the all-Russia exhibition «Day of the gardener-2018», which takes place in Michurinsk, told RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the regional administration.

According to him, the Center of development of fruit-growing named after V. G. Muhanna is the main link in the scientific chain of domestic gardening. With the opening of the School of farmers-growers here have decided one of the main objectives of agricultural education — as closer training facilities to the objects of study.

«This school is a combination of science, education and business. Such was the task set by the President — the creation of a unified scientific-production associations. Here you can see absolutely all gardening technology, which today only exist, different planting materials, nurseries, all the technological aspects of horticultural work. This is the highest level. Classrooms, laboratories, exhibition halls located in the immediate vicinity of the nurseries, Queen, garden plots. Experimental platform for practical training in the School of farmers, gardeners created on a plot of 30 hectares in the nearest future it is planned to expand them to 100 hectares, which will be established also for non-traditional gardens of the European part of Russia berries — honeysuckle, buckthorn, wild rose, Saskatoon.

«Learning advanced, innovative technologies gardening is the most important element in the further development of the industry. We began to lay a thousand acres of gardens. If pace will be the challenges facing the industry, will soon be fulfilled. We plan to reach a production of 60 thousand tons of fruit by 2020,» — said Nikitin.
