About 30 service centers will be created in Russia within the framework of creating a system of after-sales maintenance of equipment, allocated 1.5 billion rubles, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

«I signed a document that approves the rules of granting subsidies from the Federal budget on formation of system of after-sales service… 1.5 billion rubles from the reserve Fund (the government — ed.) is allocated to the Ministry of industry and trade», — said Medvedev at a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers on Monday.

According to him, funds from this amount will be able to companies that produce automobiles, farm machinery, engaged in railway engineering and who will implement the projects after-sales service in the target market.

«After-sales service, frankly, not the most is our strong side. So for buyers the important question of where you will service equipment, where it will be repaired, how to perform the warranty obligations», — said the Prime Minister.

Medvedev added that it is expected to create at least 30 service centers.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak said that the grants will be distributed until 1 November.
