Pope Francis, concluding his Apostolic visit to the Baltic States, arrived Tuesday in the airport of Tallinn, where he met the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid.

On the red carpet with a guard of honor Francis proceeded to the airport where he was met by a children’s choir, who performed the religious song «Mu süda, ärka üles». Francis greeted each of the members of the choir and together with Kirsty Kaljulaid went to the presidential Palace.

Francis became the second Pope, who arrives in Estonia, in September 1993, the Republic was visited by John Paul II. Estonian television led the live broadcast of the arrival of the Pope in Tallinn.

At the presidential Palace in Tallinn Kadriorg Park will be his meeting with the Estonian President, members of the government, public representatives and the diplomatic corps.

Followed by an Ecumenical meeting with youth of different Christian denominations in the Church of our lady of Kazan, lunch in the Holy monastery. Birgitta, meeting with members of the Church of mercy in the Cathedral of the Holy apostles Peter and Paul. The highlight of the visit will be Holy Mass, which the Pope will hold at the Freedom square in Central Tallinn. In the evening the plane of the Pontiff will leave Tallinn airport and take a course on Rome.
