The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the United Nations in response to a question from Russian journalists about the peacekeepers in the Donbass, they called out «fake news».

Journalists of the TV channel «Russia-24» was filming a story on the sidelines of the UN, where the 73rd General Assembly of the UN, when there appeared the head of Ukraine. The correspondent of the TV channel asked Poroshenko a question about promoted them to the initiative for the deployment of UN peacekeepers in the Donbas. This time the President is already surrounded by other journalists.

Without slowing the pace, Poroshenko shouted at the camera «fake news» and disappeared behind the doors of meeting rooms, located next to the premises of the Russian delegation, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

However, some media say that the Ukrainian President by mistake still went into the room of the Russian delegation to the UN, from which he emerged after 15 seconds.

When the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Poroshenko just went into his office, he joked: «Probably the toilet is messed up».

Earlier Poroshenko during the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, which takes place in new York, has discussed with European leaders the possibility of sending UN peacekeepers to Donbas.

In 2018 the General political debate in the framework of the week of the high-level session of the UN General Assembly held from 25 September to 1 October. Russian delegation is headed by foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who will speak at the General Assembly on September 28.
