The gift, which was presented to the Pope during his visit to Latvia, was subjected to scathing ridicule users of social networks. Neighbouring Estonia bypassed Latvia even in such a delicate matter as a gift vysokopostavlennyh guests, they said.

In 2014, Estonia became the first country in the world, offering the foreign service of the virtual residency. E-residency is a citizen of a foreign country secured access to any electronic services existing in Estonia.
