Nearly 200 flights cancelled in Japan in the areas linking the various parts of the country to the main administrative center of the southern Prefecture of Okinawa with Naha because of the approaching Typhoon «Centres», said broadcaster NHK.

«Typhoon» has a sequence number 24, going to Japan from South to North-East, at the weekend he can pass over the entire territory of the country. Meteorologists classify it as «extremely strong.» Currently, the center of Typhoon is located 400 kilometers from Miyako island in southern Okinawa Prefecture.

The pressure in the center of a Typhoon is 955 millibars. The wind speed at the center is 45 metres per second, with gusts up to 60 meters per second.

Expected output the Typhoon may strike the southern regions of the country, and Sunday to go over the main Japanese island of Honshu.
