The international court in the Hague is to announce Monday its decision on a longstanding territorial dispute between Bolivia and Chile about access to the Pacific ocean.

According to the foreign Ministry of Chile, the resolution will be announced on Monday at the peace Palace in the Hague. At this meeting, I intend to personally present the head of Bolivia, Evo Morales, came to the Hague in advance.

The strained relations between the two countries became the consequences of the armed conflict of the NINETEENTH century, in which Bolivia lost access to the Pacific ocean in the area of Antofagasta, ceded to Chile. La Paz in 2013 in international bodies trying to regain access to the ocean. In 2015, the international court of justice rejected the demand of the Chilean party to close the consideration of the withdrawal of Bolivia to the ocean.

If we wanted to affect the economic component after the invasion, how many would be Chile, Bolivia,» said Morales.
