Man cuts wife hands out of jealousy, will go on trial, the senior assistant administrator of GSU SK of Russia across Moscow region Olga Brady.

According to the investigation, November 11, 2017, Dmitry Grachev, experiencing hostility because of jealousy to his wife Margarita Gracheva, was kidnapped by husband and taken to the woods, where they threatened to kill. After that, she contacted the police. But on 8 December 2017, a district police officer issued the decision about refusal in excitation of criminal case in connection with absence of structure of a crime, the report says. 11 Dec 2017 Grachev, selecting the mobile phone of his wife and locking the car door, took her into the forest, where he chopped off her hands with an ax, according to the investigation.

«Completed investigation of the criminal case against Dmitry Grachev, who is accused of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm resulting in loss of body… and the kidnapping… and murder threats… currently, the criminal case against Dmitry Grachev with the approved Prosecutor indictment was sent to court for consideration on the merits,» said Brady.

She also added that in respect of the district that has not adopted the appropriate measures, criminal case «of negligence».
