Early parliamentary elections in Armenia to be held in December, said Tuesday reporters the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

«Early parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia in December of 2018» — quoted the Prime Minister Sputnik Armenia.

According to the newspaper, the Prime Minister made a similar statement following the meeting with speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ara Baloyan and Chairman of the parliamentary faction of the former ruling Republican party of Armenia Vahram Baghdasaryan.

Pashinyan promised to soon make a statement on the political situation in regard to the discussed in the Parliament draft amendments to the rules of the legislature. The project has caused discontent in addition, as MPs propose to postpone the meeting of Parliament, if there will not be a Prime. Therefore, if Pashinyan will resign to create a formal reason for the dissolution of the current Parliament, the Parliament session will be postponed permanently.
