Vladimir Putin is trusted more in the world than Donald Trump. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the American research center Pew Research Center.
The Russian leader is trusted by 30% of respondents, the higher the rating the President of China, XI Jinping, at 34%, the highest among all world leaders — German Chancellor Angela Merkel for 52 per cent. Trump trust only 27% of respondents.
In addition, the majority of respondents are concerned about the U.S. role in the international arena. In their view, the United States often disregard the opinion of other countries in addressing important global issues. Some believe that Washington began to make less effort to resolve global problems than before.
At the same time, as evidenced by the survey results, more people disapprove of the international policies of Beijing.
The study was conducted from may 20 to August 12 respondents, 26.1 thousand people from 25 countries.
