Party growth will not withdraw its candidate businessman Alexander Mahura with the election of the Governor of Khakassia, the campaign is ongoing, told RIA Novosti member of the Federal political Council of party Victor Zvagelsky.

In the first round of elections on 9 September was attended by Valentin Konovalov from the Communist party (44,81%), who held the post of the head of Khakassia Victor Zimin (32,42%), Andrey Fishin from the CP (at 11.23%) and Alexander Mahar from the Party of growth (6.61 percent). Zimin, withdrew from the elections. On Tuesday evening it became known that Filyagin, which was to participate in the second round along with Konovalov, withdrew his candidacy. CEC member Yevgeny Shevchenko told RIA Novosti that elections in Khakassia will be held even if there will be only one candidate. Russia’s President on Wednesday appointed Michael Razvozhaeva acting head of the Republic of Khakassia.

«One shot’s not going, and he will participate in the elections, if they will. The issue is that if you now move to the elections and are all valid candidates to appear in order to therefore go to a new election, then it will be. No individual withdrawals will not be, » said Zvagelsky RIA Novosti on Thursday.

«I’m talking about how the candidate says and how the point of view of the party we all discussed with him. Therefore, while no variations on the removal, with the exception of postponement of elections and new elections will not be», — said the politician.
