The second round of elections of the head of Khakassia will take place on 21 October, reported RIA Novosti in the electoral Commission of the Republic.

In the first round of elections in Khakassia on 9 September was attended by Viktor Zimin, who held the post of head of the Republic (32,42%), Valentin Konovalov from the Communist party (44,81%), Andrey Fishin from the CP (at 11.23%) and Alexander Mahar from the Party of growth (6.61 percent). Zimin, withdrew from the elections. On Tuesday evening it became known that Filyagin, which was to participate in the second round along with Konovalov, withdrew his candidacy. Documents filed participated in the first round, Maher. CEC member Yevgeny Shevchenko told RIA Novosti that elections in Khakassia will be held even if there will be only one candidate.

«The second round of elections is scheduled for October 21. In elections involving two candidates Konovalov and Mahar», — said the Agency interlocutor.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday appointed Deputy head of Minkowksi Russia Mikhail Razvozhaeva acting head of the Republic of Khakassia. At the meeting with Razvojem Putin said that asking him to work in the region of a month to ensure open elections. The President promised that after this will return Razvozhaeva in Moscow and will offer him a job in a Federal Agency.
