Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko a joke explained is not a hot water, reminding about difficulties with gas supplies, it is reported by «Ukrainian truth».

«They say that Klitschko spun the taps and turned off the hot water. Sorry, I again start to joke. What you need to cool the water became hot? To heat up. And what we heat water? Gas. And gas we now do not give» — said the Kiev mayor.

In response to the question about how he comes out of the situation, Klitschko said that he «has the boiler». While the mayor acknowledged that many residents are not able to buy water heaters, but noted that the installation of the boilers will allow to become independent from Central supply.

According to media reports, in Kiev almost all summer lacked hot water, while in several areas it is still missing.

Previously «Naftogaz of Ukraine» has declared that does not want to enter into a contract for the supply of gas to the municipal enterprise «Kievteploenergo» while the city does not pay old debts.

It is reported that in the near future «Naftogaz of Ukraine» and «Kievteploenergo» plan to conclude a contract on gas supplies.

By early October, managed to restore water supply in some houses of Kiev, but, according to official data supplying company, almost nine and a half thousand buildings from the taps are still flowing cold water only.
