The state Duma has appointed the members of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia all ten candidates proposed by the head of the regulator Elvira Nabiullina after consultation with the President of the Russian Federation.

New members of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia were three people: the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Ruslan Veterovski, head of the Central Bank on consumer protection and ensuring the availability of financial services Mikhail Mamuta and Director of the legal Department of the Central Bank Alexey Guznov.

Simultaneously the state Duma has extended the terms of seven current members of the Board of Directors: first Deputy chairmen of the Central Bank Sergey Shvetsov and Ksenia yudayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Dmitry and Vladimir Skobelkina Chistochina, chief of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal district of Nadezhda Ivanova as well as advisers to the head of the Central Bank Sergei Ignatyev and Alexei Simanovsky.

In accordance with the law on the Central Bank to the Board of Directors consists of the Chairman of the Bank of Russia (ex-officio) and 14 members who are appointed by the state Duma to the post of member of the Board of Directors for a period of five years. Their candidacy is made by the Chairman of the Bank of Russia after agreement with the President of the Russian Federation.

In addition Nabiullina to the Board of Directors now also includes the first Deputy chairmen of the Central Bank Olga Skorobogatova and Dmitry Tulin, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Vasily Pozdyshev and Olga Polyakova. However, their powers, there is no need to renew because they were assigned later to the other members of the Board of Directors, whose candidacy was approved by state Duma on Wednesday.
