CEC changed the Protocol on the results of presidential elections on four sites

The Russian Central election Commission made changes to the Protocol on the results of the presidential elections held on 18 March, subject to cancellation on the court of the results of voting in four polling stations, the corresponding decree was adopted at the CEC session on Wednesday.

As previously reported RIA Novosti Deputy head of the Central electoral Commission Nikolay Bulaev, the changes caused by the need to take into account the documents of the Central election Commission the decisions of the courts on the abolition of voting results at the four sites. Overall, the results canceled 20 sites – besides the four mentioned, there are another 16 sites, the results of which were reversed by the regional election commissions before the election results are summarized. Deputy head of the CEC also explained that we are now in Protocol changes are insignificant and have no effect on the final result; according to him, it concerns the votes of just over 5 thousand voters, representing 0.005% of the total electorate.

«To amend the Protocol of the Central election Commission of the Russian Federation about results of elections of the President of the Russian Federation from March 23, 2018 the following changes: in the line «number of polling stations, the voting results were invalidated by» the number of 16 to replace the number 20″, — says the decision of the CEC.

In addition, the Protocol was changed, the number of voters included in the lists for those areas for which results were cancelled — 29 442 36 564, was modified and the total number issued at the polling day voting ballots, with 68 587 926 68 582 675, and the number of ballots in the voting outside the premises for voting — 4 822 007 4 777 821.

Appropriate changes were made in the Protocol and in the summary table on the results of the presidential elections.

«Basically, the work of the commissions was flawless, where were the flaws, which did not allow to recognize the results of voting or partially to make adjustments to those protocols that have been. During consideration in the courts — there were 69 vessels — four precinct election commissions voting results were invalidated, and in one case, the protocols were amended,» explained Bulaev.

According to him, two sites in the city of Sovetsk of the Kaliningrad region and two sites in the Lublin district of the city of Moscow the results of the voting were declared invalid, and the area number 403 in the Lipetsk region was amended in the Protocol on the voting results. The election commissions Kaliningrad and Lipetsk oblasts and the Moscow city election Commission has made changes in their protocols and summary tables on the voting results, the same actions should be performed and the CEC of Russia, he explained.

«With regard to quantitative changes, they estimated about four thousandths a small percent. That is, this value does not affect the results of the voting on any candidate participating in presidential elections of the Russian Federation», — said the Deputy head of the CEC.

The vote in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation held on March 18. At the meeting on 23 March, the CEC officially summed up the results of the presidential election by adopting a resolution on the results of the elections and the final Protocol. Acting President Vladimir Putin won with a score of 76,69% of the vote.
