Georgian citizens will be able to vote in the election of the President of Georgia on 59 sites in 43 countries, but in Russia the polls will not be opened, reported RIA Novosti on Thursday in the CEC countries.

Presidential elections held in Georgia on October 28. This will be the last direct election of the President of Georgia. The President is elected, not five years before, and six. CEC has registered 25 candidates, 19 have put forward the party, six of the initiative group. Participation in elections will, in particular, ex-foreign Minister Salome Zurabishvili, the candidate from the United opposition Grigol Vashadze, the leader of the labour party Shalva Natelashvili and the candidate of the party «European Georgia,» David Bakradze.

«Because of the lack of diplomatic relations with Russia, the polling stations in Russia will not be opened,» said the Commission.

According to the CEC residing abroad citizens of the country must register with the consulates and embassies of Georgia or register online.
