Penza oblast PJSC «Mail Bank» agreed to expand the network of divisions of Bank, so that by the end of this year the region’s residents can get banking services in almost every second post office, reported the press service of the head region.

The corresponding cooperation agreement Thursday in Moscow was signed by the Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev, President of «Mail Bank» Dmitry Rudenko.

«You are more mobile, work where other banks refused to serve my clients to rent offices, to incur expenses, you minimize these costs… the signing of the agreement opens up new opportunities to expand the sector of services provided to the population of the Penza region, improving their accessibility, as well as the implementation of new joint projects», – quotes Belozertseva his press service.

The President of the Bank noted that the availability of banking services is today one of the key factors for successful socio-economic development of regions. «By the end of 2018 residents of the Penza region will be able to get banking services in almost every second post office in the Penza region, and the region has more than 500. Sure in close contact with the government of the Penza region, we are implementing our common ambitious goal,» – quoted Rudenko press-service of the Governor.

The parties agreed on the creation and development divisions and service points of the population in the region, expanding the list of banking services provided to pensioners, the development of system of crediting of citizens, increase of financial literacy of the population and a number of other steps.

Belozertsev and Rudenko, at the meeting also discussed the possibility of opening representative offices of «Post Bank» in the number of multifunctional centers of the region, to increase the availability of modern banking services in small towns and regional centers of the region.

According to the authorities of the region, currently a network of «Post Bank» in the Penza region has 235 points of service (including 227 in post offices) in 80 settlements. By the end of 2018, the Bank plans to open an additional 25 points of service in 17 settlements, and the number of ATMs and POS terminals of the Bank will rise to 522.
