Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that partly agree with the opinion of the head of the accounting chamber Alexei Kudrin that risks to the Russian economy from the us sanctions.

He said that the situation in the country affects not Russia’s foreign policy and the international situation.

«The pressure on Russia, the adoption of the illegal restrictions, unilateral actions in trade and economic direction, the terrorist threat, of course, this all represents a challenge from the point of view of our development plans,» — said Peskov noted that so far the authorities managed successfully with these challenges to handle.

Earlier Kudrin said that the strengthening of anti-Russian sanctions can make unattainable a President set goals and even lead to a recession, so foreign policy should be aimed at reducing tensions in relations with other countries.

A new «may» decree

Vladimir Putin after his inauguration, signed a new «may» decree defining the main directions of development of economy and social sphere until 2024.

Among the objectives to achieve in this period is the improvement of a number of demographic indicators, Russia’s entry into the five largest economies in the world, a halving in the level of poverty in the country, inflation above four percent.

It is reported that to implement them would require an additional eight trillion rubles of budget expenditures.
