Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug ready to participate in the creation and joint development in the Mogilyov branch of the Belarusian high-tech Park, according to the regional Department of public and external relations.

It is clarified that on Thursday in the framework of the working visit to Belarus the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova held a meeting with Chairman of the Mogilev regional Executive Committee Vladimir Domanevsky. The two regions signed in 2016 a cooperation agreement. According to Komarova, the Ugra, the emphasis is on the field of scientific and technical development. In particular, the County is interested in the project of branch of the Belarusian high-tech Park in Mogilev.

«This is a very powerful project. We are interested to participate at the stage of creation, but later moving on to joint development,» lead in the Department of speech of the Governor of Ugra.

She also noted that parties have opportunities to develop inter-University programs, including the freedom of movement of students, teachers, scientists on the territory of two regions and States.

«At the moment in the universities of the Autonomous district enrolls a small number of students from Belarus, but there are sufficient opportunities to build on. In the near future, our specialists will undergo training in the Republic of Belarus under the program «State forest management». This is a promising direction for us, one of the industries on which we focus in the diversification of the economy», — said the head of Ugra.

In turn, Vladimir Domanevsky said that the two regions are «great prospects for cooperation.» Commenting on the interest of the Russian region to the project of Technopark of high technologies, he expressed interest in the Ugra experience with innovative companies. Domanevsky proposed to develop an additional plan interventions for 2019, which will be provided for including this area, noted in the Department.

He also said that the authorities are ready to consider the possibility of Ugra training of students in various areas of training. In addition, according to him, there are reserves for the continuation and strengthening of cooperation of Ugra and Mogilev region in economic and cultural spheres.
