Trade between Russia and China in the first nine months rose by 25.7%

The trade turnover between Russia and China in January-September 2018 rose by 25.7% compared to the same period last year, according to Friday figures from the General administration of customs of China.

The total volume of bilateral trade in the first nine months of this year amounted to 77,15 billion dollars. Chinese exports in the accounting period in Russia grew by 12.7% and amounted to 35.2 billion dollars, and import from Russia — on 39,2% to 41,9 billion, the report States.

In September, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to 9.64 billion dollars, China has imported into Russia of goods of 5.6 billion dollars, Russia to China — by 4.04 billion, according to data.

The trade turnover between Russia and China at the end of 2017 increased by 20.8% compared with the year 2016 — up to 84 billion dollars. Chinese exports to Russia increased by 14.8% to 42.9 billion dollars, and import from Russia — by 27.7% to 41.2 billion.
