The United States will not tolerate threats against its troops from China because of the entry of US Navy ships in the South China sea, said an adviser to the us President for national security John Bolton in an interview with journalist of radio Salem Radio Network Hugh Hewitt.

«We will not tolerate threats to U.S. military personnel. We intend to keep open international sea routes. This is what the Chinese have to understand,» said Bolton in an interview, the text of which is reproduced on the website of the journalist of the radio station.

He noted that China too long «abused international order», but now for US it is time to «give back.» According to the Advisor, the UK and Australia increased their visits to the waters of the South China sea, and the United States are considering the development in the region’s natural resources, regardless of cooperation of the PRC.

«This is not a Chinese province and will not be it,» added Bolton.

China and several countries in the region — Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines — has disputes on Maritime borders and responsibility areas in the South China and East China seas. Over the past two years there have been a number of similar incidents with the American destroyers. The United States regularly send them to patrol the waters of the South China sea near the disputed Islands, which China claims as its. Despite the protests from Beijing, the official Washington noted that the United States will continue to swim wherever allows international law than was given to understand that does not recognize China’s sovereignty over the Islands — otherwise it would go on the entry of U.S. ships into the territorial waters of the PRC without permission.
