Elections of the head of Khakassia Republic was postponed to November 11. This was reported by RIA Novosti, the CEC member Yevgeny Shevchenko.

The vote was to be held on October 21, but it was canceled due to the failure of the struggle of the candidate from the Party of growth Alexander Mahura.

According to Shevchenko, the Bulletin will be the name of only one candidate — Valentina Konovalova from the Communist party — and the two options («for» and «against»). To win he need to win more than 50 percent of the votes.

As noted in the CEC initially, the election would have to pass on 4 November, but the law not to vote in the holidays.

In the first round of elections on 9 September was attended by the acting head of Khakassia Victor Zimin (received 32.42%), Valentin Konovalov (44,81%), Andrey Fishin from the CP (at 11.23%) and Alexander Mahar from the Party of growth (6.61 percent). Later Zimin and Fishin withdrew.
