The Chairman of regional branch of Party of pensioners for social justice in Primorye, Julia Tolmacheva, and in September participated in the elections of the head of region, said it has no plans to participate in new elections and will support them, acting Governor of the region Oleg Kozhemyako.

On Tuesday it became known that Tolmachev was appointed public adviser Kozhemyako. The acting Governor has stated that he plans to participate in elections of the head region as an independent candidate. In early October, members of the legislative Assembly of Primorye adopted a law that allows independents to participate in elections of the Governor of the region.

«I have decided not to participate in elections, to support Kozhemyako,» — said Tolmachev RIA Novosti.

According to her, the regional branch of the party has not yet decided the issue of nomination of candidate for election of the Governor.

«This week may take the meeting where a decision will be made on this issue,» — said Tolmachev.

«For myself, I decided that while correct and more honest to remain in the status of the Deputy of legislative Assembly of the territory», she added.

On elections of the head region in September Tolmachev scored 10.8% of the votes.

The electoral Commission of Primorye, on the recommendation of the CEC of the Russian Federation recognized the results of the September elections of the head region is invalid. Former acting Governor of the Primorsky territory Andrei Tarasenko declared that considers correct the decision to cancel the election results. The candidate from the Communist party Andrei Ishchenko has expressed readiness to challenge the results in the three territories, Ussuriysk, Artyom and Nakhodka. All, they filed more than 30 lawsuits, said the candidate from the Communist party. New elections will be held on December 16.
