Spain’s national police arrested two Syrians suspected of links with terrorist organizations and the promotion of terrorism, according to a press release of the interior Ministry.
It is reported that men aged 55 and 58 years were arrested in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.
«The national police (Spain — ed.) detained two people for membership in terrorist groups «Islamic state»* and al-Qaeda* who conducted a propaganda of the ideology of Jihad through social networks,» the document reads.
As reported in a press release, one of the detainees «have reached a high status in the information structure of the IG*». According to the Spanish police, those detained were part of groups, messengers, through which was disseminated.
