British Prime Minister Theresa may will hold weekly meetings with responsible for leaving the EU Ministers and to obtain from them reports on the preparation for Brexit, said the official representative of the Prime Minister.
Currently, London and Brussels have agreed on 95% of final agreement on Brexit. Earlier, the government announced its intention to negotiate with the EU on all provisions of the agreement until October, but due to disagreements in the negotiation process has actually stopped. The government may criticized for the inability to quickly complete negotiations with Brussels and for what Ministry actually is not ready for Brexit, which is less than six months.
«The Prime Minister asked the Cabinet members to report weekly on issues of preparation for EU exit… as you get closer to the day of exit (from the EU) it is essential that all the Ministers were informed about what would happen in various scenarios», — told reporters the representative of the Prime Minister.
Answering the question of whether the government was prepared to exit the European Union without a «deal», the envoy said, «Yes.»
«Reports (Prime Minister) will be submitted to the head of the Ministry of Brexit Dominic Raab», he added, noting that such meetings will be discussed the whole range of issues from the preparation to the exit from the EU without a «deal» to planning the format of future partnership with Europe.
Britain will leave EU by the end of March 2019.
