Tatarstan and the American Oracle Corporation plan to establish a working group to study the issues of cooperation, the company’s specialists will present their products to companies in the petrochemical sector of the Republic and will give lectures at the University Innopolis, the press service of the President of Tatarstan.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is in San Francisco with a two-day working trip in which discusses the issues of expansion of cooperation with several American companies. In particular, he visited the specialized exhibition in the framework of international conferences Oracle OpenWorld and met with the leadership of Oracle Corporation.
«Minnikhanov noted that the development of information and communication technologies and innovation is one of the priority areas for Tatarstan, Republic believes that the digitalization of the economy is an important task. He proposed to strengthen the relationship to Tatarstan and large enterprises of the region have become not just users of software, and Oracle services, but also partners», — stated in the message.
Minnikhanov offered to create a working group to study the relevant issues and topics for more detailed discussion. It also invited specialists to present to leaders of large industrial enterprises of Tatarstan at the next meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO «Tatneftekhiminvest-holding». According to the head of the Republic, it will serve to strengthen relations and promote products and services Oracle on the it market in the region.
The company representatives appreciated the efforts of the Republic of Tatarstan attached to the development of the it industry and in General the digitalization. They expressed interest in long-term cooperation, stressing that aims to ensure that the partnership was effective.
Also during the meeting it was agreed that experts of the Oracle will speak at Innopolis University lectures, added in a press-service.
