Russia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov said that the new sanctions, which intend to enter the us administration will not change the foreign policy of Russia.

«This situation (in relations of Russia and the United States – ed.) has a negative impact on the economic cooperation between our two countries. Emphasize that the sanctions pressure on Russia can not give positive results. However, we do not hear. The administration is constantly saying that they are going to increase the restriction,» — said Antonov on Tuesday at a meeting with representatives of business circles of Utah in salt lake city.

«Against the Soviet Union… sanctions throughout the twentieth century declared dozens of times. However, our opponents have not made changes in the external policy of our state», — said the Ambassador.

Previously Antonov had a meeting with the Governor of Utah, Gary Herbert, with whom he discussed issues of cooperation in the economic sphere.
