Seaside regional branch of «Communists of Russia» (CPCR) 26 Oct nominates for participation in elections of the Governor of the territory of the former candidate in presidents of Russia, the Chairman of the Communist party Maxim Suraykin, told RIA Novosti the first Secretary of the Committee of the Department Vitaly Libanov.

As reported on the website of the party, the Politburo of the Central Committee of the «Communists of Russia» has considered the request of the Primorsky branch of the party to allow him to nominate Suraykina for the position of Governor of the region and endorsed the initiative. The party believes that in the Primorsky territory was formed the public mood «is very favorable to the organization and political growth of the left forces».

Suraykin in September he was elected Deputy Chairman of the legislative Assembly of the Ulyanovsk region.

The electoral Commission of Primorye, on the recommendation of the CEC of the Russian Federation recognized the results of the September elections of the head region is invalid.
