Conte has invited Putin to visit Italy

The Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte invited the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the near future to visit Italy.

«If I may, I will begin meeting with wishes, my wish is — I would love to get you in the very near future visited Italy. You too long have not been. I really would not like to have the Italian people the impression that you do not pay due attention to it,» said Conte at the meeting with Putin.

Conte noted that Russia and Italy have strong relations in the sphere of culture, economy and trade.

«As you rightly noted, despite the complexity that we see today in the international context, which I would define as a very sensitive, we are able to maintain the quality and quantity of our relations and relationships,» added the Italian Prime Minister.

He also said that plans in the framework of the visit to assess the potential for further cooperation.
