Bolivian President Evo Morales called the U.S. a threat to world peace because of Washington’s intentions to withdraw from the Treaty on intermediate and shorter-range missiles (INF Treaty).

«Trump threatens to send troops to the border with Mexico against thousands of Central American migrants, announces the release of the agreement with Russia on nuclear forces and medium-range missiles. The US is the enemy of peace and human rights,» Morales wrote in his microblog on Twitter.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald trump has promised to send to the border with Mexico, as military as necessary to stop «a growing caravan of refugees.»

Prior to that, he announced that the United States does not intend to comply with the Treaty on intermediate-range and shorter-range when it breaks, and will be released from the contract. The US President, commenting on the withdrawal from the INF Treaty, added that Washington will develop weapons. Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow wants to obtain a more detailed explanation from the United States, and added that the scrapping of the provisions of the INF Treaty would force Russia to take measures to ensure their safety. The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that any action in this field will meet.
