A large group of migrants from the Middle East and North Africa continues to block the road to the checkpoint Malevez between Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Croatia, said the Ministry of interior of Croatia.

In the border with Croatia the cities of Zvornik, and srebrenik Tuzla Canton (County) big months accumulates the largest number of migrants from the Middle East and North Africa who are trying to go to the territory of the EU. On Wednesday, a group of migrants more than 100 people broke through one of the two Bosnian police cordons in the area of border point Malevez, while three of them were injured, was sent to the hospital in the city of srebrenik.

Croatian police have put a guard on its territory for colleagues from Bosnia-Herzegovina, the scene was fit a special unit from the air the situation was monitored by a helicopter of the interior Ministry. CAT and leading to it the road was closed. Three standing in a cordon of Croatian police, which the migrants threw stones, suffered minor injuries.

«CAT Malevez remains closed, the citizens for crossing the border can take advantage of the other PPC – Bogovolja. Croatian police spent the night at the scene in readiness, but its action was not necessary. Currently individuals with the Bosnian-Herzegovinian side is located 150 metres from the boundary line under the supervision of the BiH police», — is spoken in the Ministry message.

Bosnian media reported from the scene that migrants camped with tents right on the checkpoint leading to the road and near it. On Thursday there will arrive a new group of people, many of them with children, the total number of migrants is more than 200 people. Children wearing self-made posters «No to war!», «Open borders», «Want in the EU».
