The number of customers left without electricity in the Krasnodar region due to heavy rain, thunderstorms and wind, has risen to about 11.1 thousand people, according to the materials of the Ministry of energy.

«Without power are: household consumers in Tuapse and Absheron districts, Adler, Dagomys and Lazarevskoye districts of the city of Sochi (about 11.1 thousand people)… the Power of disabled consumers – 5,9 MW», — stated in the message.

According to the Ministry, from 6.45 till 10.00 a.m. of Thursday due to adverse weather conditions, power outages in electric networks of 110 kV and the mass outages in distribution networks 6-10 kV. Earlier in the materials, the energy Ministry reported that in the region without power supply there were more than 9 thousand people.

It is noted that emergency repair works involved with 14 teams of 35 people and 14 pieces of equipment. This work is difficult because of the blurred driveways.

In connection with the rain on Wednesday in the Tuapse and Apsheron districts, as well as in Sochi has been flooding. According to recent reports, were impounded 1846 households where there are more than 5 thousand people. According to preliminary information, six people were killed, one was missing.
