The electoral Commission of Primorye took the nomination documents to the elections of the Governor of the region from 12 candidates, including two independents, said RIA Novosti the representative of the Commission.

Acceptance of documents for the nomination of candidates began on Friday, submission of documents for registration will be held from 11 to 18 November. The decision on registration or refusal shall be made within seven days.

In particular, it became known that the documents submitted nomination, acting Governor of the region Oleg Kozhemyako, who went to elections the independent candidate, Oleg Mitvol of the Green party and the head of Primorsky branch of «Business Russia» Alexey Timchenko, nominated by the regional branch of the Party of growth.

From the liberal democratic party, the documents submitted to the state Duma Deputy Andrei Andreychenko. The Chairman of the Committee on local government, law and order and legality of the Duma of Vladivostok rose Chemerys was nominated by the party «For women of Russia».

Elections in Primorye

The electoral Commission of Primorsky Krai, on the recommendation of the CEC invalidated the results of the September elections of the Governor.

Former acting head of the region Andrey Tarasenko said he believes it’s the right decision, and refused to fight. The candidate from the Communist party Andrei Ishchenko has expressed readiness to challenge the results in the three territories, Ussuriysk, Artyom and Nakhodka. He filed more than 30 lawsuits.

Vladimir Putin was appointed acting Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, who headed up this Sakhalin oblast. To go to the polls as an independent candidate he allowed the law, which in early October was attended by the deputies of the legislative Assembly of Primorye.

A new vote is scheduled for December 16.
