The head of Primorsky branch of «Business Russia» Alexey Timchenko, nominated by the regional branch of «party of Growth» on elections of the Governor has submitted to the electoral Commission the documents for the nomination of a candidate.

«I applied to the electoral Commission», — told RIA Novosti Timchenko.

According to him, while members of the Federation Council from the region in the event of his victory, agreed.

«While I can name only one name — is a party member Oleg Pak, chief physician of the Medical center, far Eastern Federal University», — said Timchenko.

The electoral Commission of Primorye on Friday started to accept documents for nomination of candidates for participation in new elections of the head region, which will be held on December 16. Submission of documents for registration of candidates will start November 11 and will last until November 18. The decision on registration or refusal shall be made within seven days.

Earlier documents for nomination already filed, interim Governor of the region Oleg Kozhemyako. He went to elections the independent candidate. Also the electoral Commission have the documents from Oleg Mitvol of the Green party.

Timchenko is the Chairman of the Primorsky regional branch of Russian public organization «Business Russia» in 2015, 2016 — Chairman of the regional branch of the «Party of Growth» in Primorsky Krai and a member of the Presidium of the General Council of the party.

The electoral Commission of Primorye, on the recommendation of the CEC of the Russian Federation recognized the results of the September elections of the head region is invalid. Former acting Governor of the Primorsky territory Andrei Tarasenko declared that considers correct the decision to cancel the election results. The candidate from the Communist party Andrei Ishchenko has expressed readiness to challenge the results in the three territories, Ussuriysk, Artyom and Nakhodka.
