Serpukhov court of Moscow has started consideration on the merits resonant case Dmitry Grachev, who out of jealousy chopped off his wife’s hands, denies man who kidnapped wife and threatened to kill her, told RIA Novosti press-service of the court.

«Grachev only plead guilty to causing grievous bodily harm. From the other charges refused,» — said the press service.

In addition to the infliction of grievous bodily harm he was charged Criminal code «Threat by murder» and «Kidnapping».

The court also, noted the press service, on Friday interrogated the victim in the case. The next meeting will continue interrogation of witnesses.

Earlier, the court has deprived of parental rights Grachev.

According to the investigation, November 11, 2017, Dmitry Grachev, experiencing hostility because of jealousy to his wife Margarita Gracheva, was kidnapped by husband and taken to the woods, where they threatened to kill. After that, she contacted the police. But December 8, a district police officer issued the decision about refusal in excitation of criminal case in connection with absence of structure of a crime, have noted in SK, 11 Dec Grachev, selecting the mobile phone of his wife and locking the car door, took her into the forest, where he chopped off her hands with an axe.
