Pope Francis during Sunday mass in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican to mark the end of the Synod of bishops of the Roman Catholic Church apologized to young people for lack of the attention of clergymen to their problems.

«I want to tell young people on behalf of all us adults: excuse us if we tend not to have listened to you, if instead of open you heart, we filled your ears. As the Church of Christ we want to listen to you with love, confident in two things: that your life is precious to God, because God loves the young and the young, and that your life is too precious for us, even necessary, to go forward,» said the Pontiff during the sermon.
