The President-elect of Brazil Air Bolsonaro said that it would reduce the Federal government and to defend democracy and freedom in the country.
«I promise that my government will protect the democracy, freedom and the Constitution,» said Bolsonaro his supporters in Rio de Janeiro, the broadcast of his performances have been led by the TV channel Globo.
He also promised the nation to provide religious freedom, freedom of expression and speech, and expressed the hope that Brazil will become a country where its inhabitants are «not afraid to take to the streets».
«I believe in the people of Brazil and hope that together we can create a better future. And this future will be created, including the government, which will provide conditions for the growth of all. And that means the Federal government will be reduced, as to its structure and bureaucracy,» added Bolsonaro.
He promised that the new government will «break down bureaucratic barriers and allow entrepreneurs greater freedom». Bolsonaro also expressed the hope that the result of his actions the country’s public debt will stop growing.
«We will seek bilateral relations with countries that will help to increase the economic value and technological development of Brazil,» he added.
