British Ambassador Laurie Bristow and his colleagues from Western diplomatic missions on Monday laid flowers to the Solovetsky stone in Moscow.

«Ambassador Laurie Bristow along with the other ambassadors and diplomats of member countries of the European Union laid flowers to the Solovetsky stone in Moscow to commemorate the victims of political repression in the Soviet Union», — stated in the message of the British Embassy in Twitter.

The ceremony was held in the framework of the action «Return name» in the eve of Day of memory of victims of political repression.

This year the campaign is held for the twelfth time.
