Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan a congratulatory telegram on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic, and noted that the two countries successfully develop cooperation, working closely together in international Affairs, reports a press-service of the Kremlin.

«In the early years of the Turkish Republic were laid the foundations of friendly and good neighbourly relations between our States», — the telegram says.

Putin also stressed the importance that «Moscow and Ankara are now successfully develop constructive cooperation in all areas, and effectively cooperate in addressing the pressing issues of regional and international agenda in the interests of the two peoples and the entire Eurasian continent.»
