The Austrian foreign Minister Karin Kneissl expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the crash of a Lion Air plane off the coast of Indonesia.

«Saddened by the tragic news about the plane crash in Indonesia. My deepest condolences to all the bereaved families and their friends. Always grateful to the crew for every safe landing. Let those who are waiting for their loved ones at the airport, find solace,» wrote Kneisl on Twitter.

The Boeing 737 Max budget airline Lion Air, carrying out flight from Jakarta on the island of Sumatra, crashed off the coast of West Java Friday morning. According to the airline, onboard there were 181 passengers, two pilots and six crew members. The representative of the rescue service said RIA Novosti that the crash no one survived.
