An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred in the Drake passage South of the coast of Argentina, according to the European Mediterranean seismological centre (EMSC).
According to seismologists, tremors were recorded in 06.54 UTC (09.54 GMT), the epicenter of the earthquake was located 310 kilometers South from Ushuaia, its center lies at a depth of 10 kilometers.
At the moment the information on destructions and victims did not arrive.
