The investigative Committee (IC) of Russia will gradually increase the number of investigators in the Central office and in territorial investigating bodies, the Chairman of Department Alexander Bastrykin.
«In particular, will increase the number of investigators under the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, will increase the staff of the Main investigation Department. Given that the specificity of investigative work in the Central office involves frequent business trips, and sometimes around the clock, investigators are in the workplace, considering the issues further material support for their activities, as well as issues of social support for investigators and their families,» said Bastrykin in an interview to «Rossiyskaya Gazeta».
In addition, there will be additional units and regional investigative bodies of the SC. There a number of investigators «will be increased to 55 per cent of the state within the established staffing levels and budget allocations,» — said the head of Department.
