Fariddin nasriev appointed Consul General of Uzbekistan to Kazan, said Tuesday the Uzbek foreign Ministry.
In Russia there had been only two foreign representative offices of Uzbekistan — Embassy of the Republic in Moscow and the Consulate in Novosibirsk. This year the foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan has already opened three Consulate General in Russia — in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok. Earlier, former Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Russia Bakhrom Ashrafhanov told reporters that the country plans to open in 2018, the Consulate in Rostov-on-don.
«The Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan (Russian Federation) appointed Fariddin nasriev», — said in a statement on the Ministry’s website.
According to the Agency, nasriev previously worked as Deputy Director of the consular and legal Department of the foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan. County opened in addition to the Consulate General of the Republic of Tatarstan includes the territory of the thirteen regions of the Russian Federation, added the foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
