Vice-Premier – presidential envoy to FEFD Yuri Trutnev announced that he is ready to take part in sparring during his visit to Japan, if it will help the development of trade-economic and political ties between the two countries.
Trutnev is in Japan, where in the framework of the working visit on October 29-31 in Tokyo met with representatives of local authorities and the business community to discuss issues of further cooperation with the far Eastern regions. On the final day of the visit Trutnev will come to Okinawa to participate in the solemn ceremony dedicated to the bilateral year Russia – Japan.
According to Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the co-Chairman of the Russian Union of martial arts, to his arrival will have the performance of a number of Russian athletes in combat sports, martial arts.
«I don’t think I need someone to stand in sparring in Japan. But if so it will have a positive impact on the development of trade-economic and political ties, I am ready,» — said Trutnev in an interview with RIA Novosti, answering a question, whether he plans himself to take part in the fighting.
