The leader of the party «Batkivshchyna» Yulia Tymoshenko stated that in case of victory on elections of the President of Ukraine intends to achieve from Russia of compensation of the damages allegedly occasioned by the loss of Donbass and Crimea, where residents voted for independence from Kiev in referendums; the Ukrainians can get about 100 billion euros, she said.

In Ukraine, politicians have begun campaigning ahead of the elections for President and Parliament, despite the fact that officially the electoral race has not yet begun. By estimations of analysts, the most active agitation leads Tymoshenko, who has already submitted a part of the «new deal» for the country, which concerned the economy. Presidential elections will be held in the spring of 2019. Tymoshenko for several months remains the leader of presidential rating.

«If all the victims were Ukrainian citizens will submit claims against the aggressor state, the total amount of the claim calculated according to the jurisprudence of the European court of human rights, will exceed 100 billion Euro «, — said Tymoshenko on Tuesday during the presentation of a strategy to address the conflict in the Donbass and reintegration of this region in the Ukraine.

She noted that the goal of her team is to make Russia compensate for damage caused to Ukrainian citizens, business and government. According to her statement, financial compensation will be able to get the Ukrainian military injured in the Donbass, the families of the victims and displaced persons. In addition, according to Tymoshenko, there must be an inventory loss which was incurred by the citizens and the state.

In January 2015 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the statement in which Russia is called «an aggressor», as Kiev believes that Russia intervenes in the Affairs of Ukraine is a party to the conflict in the Donbass. Evidence of this was provided. The Russian foreign Ministry called the allegations «unsubstantiated public insinuations». Moscow has repeatedly stated that it is not a party to domestic conflict, uninvolved in the events in the South-East and is interested in Ukraine overcame political and economic crisis.
