The head of Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov has advised Ukrainian politics Yulia Tymoshenko should not hope for the fall «Crimean wall» and the return of the Peninsula to the Ukraine.

Earlier, the leader of the Ukrainian party «Fatherland» Yulia Tymoshenko, in an interview with Euronews, said that Ukraine will make every effort to return to Crimea. According to her, after the presidential elections and change of government in the country will open a window of opportunity to become the initiators of the negotiation process in the new format. According to her, as the Berlin wall fell, so shall the «Crimean wall».

«Tymoshenko hopes that the «Crimean wall» will fall like the Berlin. But our wall is not made of concrete. It Crimeans themselves, and our will for unity with Russia. Teeth they will break on our wall. Already broke. Rather, crumble the remnants of Ukraine than shaken, this ultra-strong monolith,» —said Konstantinov speaking at the next session of the Crimean Parliament.

Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which 96.77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6% of residents of Sevastopol voted for joining Russia. Ukraine still considers Crimea its but temporarily occupied territory. The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that the inhabitants of Crimea democratically in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter voted for reunification with Russia. According to the Russian President, the question of Crimea «closed permanently».
