Mandatory genomic registration of migrants will help to reduce the level of crime in Russia, said a member of the Board of the public organization «Officers of Russia», the police Colonel in resignation Vladimir Slepak.

I was in favour of this category to be allowed to work in Russia only through genomic registration. I believe that taking into account the operational situation needs to be urgently drafted a new law and extended to include new categories,» — told RIA Novosti expert.

According to him, the reports of heads of law enforcement agencies are the figures that almost every second crime is committed by migrants.

Given the fact that in many countries, up to 70% of crimes solved based on the genome, in his opinion, it is necessary to create a Russian base, and the exchange with similar databases in the CIS.
