Business Germany worried about American sanctions against Russia, in particular the vague wording and the possibility of further tightening, said the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of German economy Wolfgang Buchele at a meeting of representatives of business circles of Germany with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

«I would like to say a few words about the anxieties with which we are faced and which could lead to problems. Mutual economic sanctions, unfortunately, have not undergone any changes, in particular U.S. sanctions. It is necessary, unfortunately, to treat with the utmost seriousness, and we must count on their further tightening. And we are deeply concerned that these sanctions are formulated very accurately and clearly, so that individual enterprises are very difficult to understand whether they touch them or not,» said Buchele.

According to him, the new US sanctions may relate to both the German and Russian enterprises.

«We hope that we can find a solution how to cope with them», — said the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of German economy.
