Russian retaliatory measures against individuals and legal entities of Ukraine, affecting, in particular, the head of «Naftogaz of Ukraine» will not affect Russian gas deliveries to Europe, told RIA Novosti Senator Igor Morozov.

The head of «Naftogaz of Ukraine» Andrey Kobelev joined the list of those affected by the special economic measures of the Russian Federation in response to sanctions Kiev, the corresponding document posted Thursday on the website of the Russian government.

«This process (of gas supplies through Ukraine. — Approx. ed.) depends on many factors — and from the progress of the tripartite negotiations and how to move the «Nord stream», and several others. But today introduced the measures of the government of the Russian Federation in respect of (Chapter. — Approx. ed.) of «Naftogaz» this process will not affect», — said Morozov.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a government resolution on measures to implement the presidential decree «On application of special economic measures in connection with the unfriendly actions of Ukraine in relation to citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation». The decree provides, in particular, blocking of non-cash, securities and property of individuals and legal entities in the Russian Federation, as well as the prohibition on withdrawal of capital from Russia.
