U.S. law enforcement authorities are investigating the death of two sisters from Saudi Arabia, whose bodies were found in the area of new York, reports CBS News with reference to police records.
As reports TV channel, 16-year-old, Farea Tala (Tala Farea) and 22-year-old Faria Rotana (Rotana Farea) went missing back in August of this year. Their bodies connected and turned faces to each other, were found on October 24 at the Hudson river. There is a lack of obvious signs of trauma. The police found that they lived in Fairfax, Virginia, about 360 kilometers from the place where they were found.
Tala and Rotana moved to the United States with her mother in 2015. The message that they were lost, was reported to the police August 24. According to police, it was not the first disappearance, it had happened in December 2017.
According to the mother of the girls, the day before their bodies were found, she got a call from the Saudi Embassy. His staff demanded that the whole family left the United States because her daughter has filed a petition for political asylum. Representatives of the Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in the US stated, in turn, contacted the family of the girls and «provided support and assistance during this difficult time.»
It is reported that the cause of death for females is not yet established.
